The Gard wouldn't be the Gard without its aqueduct! Yet, the Pont
du Gard is only part of the 50 km long Roman aqueduct that used to supply
Nîmes with water.

The area around Uzès and the Pont du Gard is like a painter's
palette. From sunflower yellow to lavender blue, through the gold of the
famous stone from the Gard, the ochre of the autumn vineyards and the
red of the arbutus fruit in winter, it is an invitation to the gentle
life.
